Tiffany Young reportedly cast in new JTBC drama

Singer Tiffany Young (Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany) joins new drama.

According to a report by SportTV News on June 29th, the singer will make her acting debut alongside Song Joongki in the highly anticipated drama “재벌집 막내아들” (literal title: Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son).

The drama is based on a popular web novel of the same name, which tells the story of the main character who was falsely accused of embezzlement for more than a decade and killed by the chaebol family, only to be reincarnated as the chaebol family’s youngest son. The drama is about how he exacts his revenge by taking over the family.

Tiffany Young will make her drama debut, playing the youngest daughter of the chaebol family. Tiffany, a native of San Francisco, is expected to play a Korean-American character in the drama and show off her natural acting.

Tiffany Young is currently playing the role of Roxy Hart in the musical “Chicago,” where she is well-received for her stable performance. Attention is focusing on whether Tiffany Young’s acting on the small screen will receive similar positive reviews.

In addition, “Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son” drew attention as actors Song Joongki, Shin Hyunbin, and Lee Sungmin are considering roles, adding to the heightened expectations.

Tiffany Young debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007. After her contract expired with SM Entertainment in 2018, she signed with an American label and began solo activities. In addition to her musicals and solo music releases, Tiffany Young recently joined Mnet’s “Girls Planet 999” and KBS’ “Pet Vitamin 2.”
