Group STAYC to make a comeback in early September.
According to multiple K-pop officials on August 4th, STAYC entered the final stage of preparation for a new album with the goal of making a comeback in early September. STAYC is known to have already finished filming the music video for the title song.
STAYC made their debut with “SO BAD” in November last year and succeeded in gaining momentum. Since then, the second title song “ASAP,” released in April, proved its popularity by ranking high on the music charts not long after its release.
In particular, “ASAP” sold more than 58,000 copies in just one month of its release, and its music video also surpassed 20 million views in just nine days. Expectations are high for the birth of a new popular girl group.
Thanks to such positive results, STAYC announces their comeback amid strong support from the head of the agency, Black Eyed Pilseung. Attention is focusing on whether STAYC will be able to “tighten the trend” in the new girl group battle.
