Red Velvet’s Wendy reportedly to join “SNL Korea.”

According to Star News report on July 7th, Wendy will join “SNL Korea,” which is set to be unveiled in the second half of 2021.

Red Velvet’s Wendy has caused surprise by reportedly joining the cast. Although she has appeared in talk-based entertainment programs, this will be her first time appearing as a fixed cast member on a comedy program. Her comedy acting skills is a unique attraction and her potential chemistry with comedians and SNL veterans Shin Dongyup, Ahn Youngmi, Jung Sanghoon, and Kwon Hyuksoo will be a key point to watch.

Wendy, who has been loved by the public for her good-girl image, is expected to make a unconventional and drastic transformation. On top of that, she is expected to draw many global viewers as a part of Red Velvet, giving a big boost to “SNL Korea” views.

The “SNL Korea” reboot is expected to be revealed in the second half of the year with host Shin Dongyup. It initially ran for 9 seasons on tvN from 2011 to 2017.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet’s Wendy most recently joined “Youngstreet” radio show as their official new DJ.
