Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun to play lead role in new drama.
Seohyun will play the female lead in the drama “Jinx’s Lovers,” in which Na Inwoo has confirmed his appearance as the male lead.
According to Star News’ report on July 1st, Seohyun was cast in “Jinx’s Lovers,” which will be produced in the second half of this year. Seohyun will decide on her next drama eight months after JTBC’s “Personal Life,” which ended in November last year.
“Jinx’s Lovers” is a fantasy romance drama in which a human man who lives his unhappy life obediently, considering it destiny, meets a goddess who jumps into the real world to break his curse and overcome her own cruel fate.
Seohyun plays Lee Seulbi in the drama. Lee Seulbi, as the “Goddess of Good Luck,” meets Gong Soogwang (played by Na Inwoo), who has a special jinx, to fight against her own fate. Through this work, Seohyun will transform into a fairytale-esque character.
As she recently starred in the movie “Holy Night: Demon Hunters,” she will be busy filming until the second half of this year.
Meanwhile, “Jinx’s Lovers” will begin filming in the second half of this year, and the timing of the broadcast is under discussion.
