BLACKPINK’s “Ice Cream” music video surpasses 600 million views

BLACKPINK’s “Ice Cream” music video has surpassed 600 million views. This is their 10th music video to surpass it.

YG Entertainment said on July 22 “BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ music video exceeded 600 million views on YouTube at 8 p.m. on the 21st.”

This is the first record set in 320 days since the music video was first released on August 28 last year. It took less than a year for the MV to reach 600 million views amid the explosive interest and love of Korean and global fans.

“Ice Cream” is a song by BLACKPINK with global pop star Selena Gomez. It is a cute and fresh concept different from what BLACKPINK had released before and drew attention with the pop and cheerful sound.

In particular, “Ice Cream” ranked 13th on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart at the time of its release, breaking the K-pop girl group’s record. In addition, it has charted in the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight consecutive weeks, proving BLACKPINK’s global influence.
